I suspect it's because he's standing in front and can't see what everybody else is doing. Isn't that the Dem way?
Or perhaps putting one's hand over one's heart is...how'd he put it...not the kind of patriotism he wants to show?

The video is titled 'Barack Obama 2008 spokenword.' Muslims Against Sharia call on Barack Obama to distance himself from his extremist supporters and to denounce this You Tube video for promoting violence in the name of the Obama for President campaign.
