...Patrick Hornbeck, [a self-proclaimed homosexual] Chair of Fordham Theology and Fr. Bryan Massingale, [a notorious homosexualist, if not another homosexual] the James and Nancy Buckman Chair in Applied Christian Ethics, released a statement concerning the current sex abuse crisis
The efforts by some influential persons to lay responsibility for the church’s situation upon gay priests and our society’s growing acceptance of same-sex orientations and relationships can occasion feelings of anger, betrayal, and perhaps even shame…First, we categorically condemn the vile slander that the crisis in the Catholic church is due to the presence of gay men. It reflects one of the most pernicious and deeply rooted stereotypes of gay persons, that of the sexual molester and child predator. It is a prejudice rooted in ignorance, fear, and/or hate. It negates the witness of many gay men who serve as priests with dedication and even distinction. It minimizes or even ignores the pain endured by female survivors of clerical abuse. Moreover, the alleged connection between pedophilia and homosexuality is unsupported by the Catholic church’s own commissioned research. The crisis facing the Catholic church is not one of sexual orientation. It is instead a crisis of sexual violence, systemic dishonesty, and episcopal malfeasance. That statement is so full of lies that I don't have time to fisk the whole damnable pack. Suffice it to say that it is cribbed from the leading homosexualist propagandist, James Martin. They are good at straw-man setups, like "the vile slander that the crisis in the Catholic church is due to the presence of gay men" No one ever said that, of course. "The crisis" is due to the activity of Satan. But the Queer Network of Bishops, Cardinals, and priests--which account for 80+% of the abuse and rapes of boys and men--have a great deal to do with it, no?
Or this one: It is a prejudice rooted in ignorance, fear, and/or hate. They use the word "prejudice" for a reason: it's imported from the race-baiting bunch of which Massingale is a part. In reality, prejudices have foundation in fact and experience. But prejudice evaporates (or not) based on confirmation-experience. So no, it's not "ignorance", nor is it "hate." Nor is it "fear." That's all lies. In fact, truly Catholic fathers and mothers are NOT ignorant and they are not "h8ters". Nor do we 'fear the queers'. But that's your story--fake as it is--and you can stick to it. We don't believe a word of it because it's slander, pure and simple--but that's what you do, isn't it?
They note, accurately, that the Church paid for the John Jay study which drew the wrong conclusions, deliberately. After all, the Bishops didn't want ALL the truth out there. But when 80% of the rapes are done to pubescent boys, it's homosexuality. That Grave Disorder you have means something, and you're displaying it very well, right down to the "reeeeeeeeeee reeeeeeeeeeeee!!"
Oh, yes, and "episcopal malfeasance"!! We know all about Weakland, McCarrick, Spellman, McGrath, and Farrell, for starters. Coccopalmiero and Re, too.
Another Episcopal Malfeasance? Spell it L-I-S-T-E-C-K-I. How does that smell down there, Excellency?

The first lie is there is "a growing acceptance of homosexuality".
Growing revulsion, actually.
These people are all exposed now, and we don't like it. We especially don't like it in God's Holy Church. And we will protect our kids. Be assured of that. The time for using our children for your perversity is over.
