Well, he asks the right questions first.
“We should not be asking, ‘How big should our government be?’” Ryan said. “We should be asking, ‘What is our government for? What is the purpose?’”

If'n I were a betting man, I'd be betting that Ryan does NOT think the Feds should be controlling school bake-sale fundraisers. Or TV ad volume.
Or requiring poisonous lightbulbs.

I can't think of any time I've heard anybody ask that question. Wouldn't that be a straw man?
