You may have seen the news item over the weekend. A blog service with 73K users was suddenly shut down.
It gets more curious.
....we learn that the actual reason for the shutdown is unknown, as is the identity of the government agency imposing it.
It was not ICE.
Originally, the story hinted that the blog network was involved with 'copyright problems'--of the Bit Torrent variety. But if that's the case, wouldn't RIAA or MPAA know about it?
They don't.

BitTorrent is not just a bugaboo of RIAA/MPAA; it's also software manufacturers.
Studies have also allegedly shown that "music pirates" pay more for music than those who don't pirate.
