It's been a week or so, and the Texas authorities have yet to find the "young girl who phoned in a complaint of abuse" from the FLDS compound.
And now the MSM is paying attention--last night a few minutes were spent by one news program interviewing some of the women and the FDLS' attorney.
Curious.
Before the NannyGrannyLefties manage to mis-interpretate this, I am no fan of either polygamy (it's unnatural) nor of forcing 12, 14, or 16-year old girls (or boys) to engage in sexual relations.
But in Texas, of all places, nobody seems able to find The Beef.

I'm conflicted on the handling of this "problem" if there was one.
I smell the remnants of Waco.
Even if there was abuse- the proper response is to arrest the abuser, not let the leftist man-haters confiscate the kids! Where is the freedom here?
This is a very dangerous situation. How many teenagers are running around Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, El Paso and other texas cities that are pregnant? Do they take them from their family. More than likely, no. If Texas succeeds, what's to stop the "authorities" going after some group like the Amish?
It's too bad that not that many people are talking about this. It's a very scary situation, especially when they round up hundreds of kids at once, with no evidence they have been abused or neglected.
