As you might expect, Local Pravda doesn't want to tell you all the facts.
Residential electric bills could go up more than expected in southeast Wisconsin next year under a new rate proposal submitted this week by We Energies.
The company is now seeking a 13% increase in the rate for its residential customers pay for electricity, according to a recent filing in its rate case before the Public Service Commission of Wisconsin. The $14.61 per month increase is more than double the utility's initial request of $6 a month....
Thirteen percent is more than BidenFlation, for sure. Why this big?
Let's go to the May '22 announcement. (Maybe Local Pravda's laptop already dumped this into the memory hole.)
...Around 60% of the growth in the We Energies rate base comes from investments in new power generation. Regulators at the Public Service Commission have approved or are considering $835 million in projects for Wisconsin Electric, including the Badger Hollow II solar project in southwestern Wisconsin, and solar-battery project in Paris and Dairen....
...We Energies, and its parent company Milwaukee-based WEC Energy Group, are in the midst of a dramatic shift in power generation, relying more on solar, battery and wind while retiring older coal plants, including some units in Oak Creek....
Oooooooh!! So WE is going away from reliable stuff like coal and replacing it with Green Stuff which doesn't always produce enough energy, and filling the hole with natural gas.
And what did Bai-Den do to the world's natural gas supply just last month???
So when Granny freezes to death in the dark, think of it as just another Democrat Party solution to over-population. She's just a sacrifice on the altar of the Green Goddess.
Doesn't that make you feeeeeeeeeel better??
Don't feeeeeeeeeellll good yet. Tony's Plan to Save the Earth would be even MORE expensive--and that's if it actually works. Bet on the former, not the latter.
