This has been coming for a long time. Wauwatosa has shifted from red to blue over the last 30 years or so (and that disease is moving west into Elm Grove (!!) and Brookfield.)
But Tosa is apparently the first school district in SE Wisconsin to adopt the Federal Dept of Education sex de-sensitize-and-groom requirements.
How bad is it?
...Third grade students [EIGHT-YEAR OLDS!] discuss gender identity, sexual orientation and pronouns, according to the curriculum. Activities include teaching the students that gender identity is something you “feel.”
“You might even feel like you’re a boy even if you have body parts that some people might tell you are ‘girl’ parts,” the activity reads. You might even feel like you’re a girl even if you have body parts that some people might tell you are ‘boy’ parts. And you might not feel like you’re a boy or a girl, but you’re a little bit of both.”
“It is important to avoid assuming that all of your students’ gender identities will match their sexual anatomy,” the lesson plan stated....
And then there are the picture-books for kindergarten which teach children all about body parts.
In sixth grade, teachers will improve their own communication skills as follows:
...teacher should refer to their female students as ‘students who will menstruate’ or to their male students as ‘penis owners.’...
This is the Progressive Rot in living color. It is NOT a co-incidence that nearby Catholic and independent schools are growing like topsy.
There is a positive here: parents in the rest of SE Wisconsin have been warned. It's not likely that another District will sneak this crap into their curriculum without a REALLY big fight.
