Boeing is having trouble with its latest, the Starliner.
Commenter on Insta's story:
“It pretty much started with the Rockwell aerospace and McDonnell Douglas mergers in the mid 90s. It’s a long story, but somehow the MDAC people ended up running the company, and they started running it into the ground, including moving HQ from Seattle to Chicago, and putting the bean counters instead of the engineers in charge.”
That's what took Chrysler down, too, back in the 1970's (pre-Iacocca).
