UW-M will be cutting back its staff, using buyouts. Enrollment is going down. So they find some teachers' union dude to 'inform' them on the problem.
...An added pressure on UW System schools is an in-state tuition freeze that started in 2013. It locked in rates for Wisconsin residents without simultaneously increasing the amount of support coming from the state's taxpayers....The UW System had stashed $640++million in the cookie jar by 2013--a fact the union guy forgot to mention--and that the "reporter" didn't bother to go find. THAT is the reason for the tuition freeze. You cheat, you pay.
Oh, well. In the next few years, the UW system will be forced to close at least one campus. Wait till you hear the screeching from the union twits then!
