It appears that Ford's Lincoln-car personality doesn't like the Second Amendment.
...People magazine quoted
McConaughey as saying, “Let’s ban the assault weapons for civilians.
This is a no-brainer. And to my friends out there that are responsible
owners of these recreational assault weapons that they use for
recreation, please let’s just take one for the team here and set it
down. That issue saves lives.”....
So the question: why don't you "take one for the team" and buy a Caddy or a Benz?
Another question for McConaughey: WHOSE team, knucklehead?

Second Amendment was passed 1791...1791 type firearms are the frame of reference--muzzle loaders, one shot every couple of minutes.
You're kidding, right? That's an argument you consider to be intelligent?
At the time the Bill of Rights was written, semi-auto rifles were already in existence in England.
Further, "arms" is not defined as limited to muskets, nor pistols, nor swords/knives/tasers. If the founders wanted limits, they would have said so; but the British Bill of Rights and immediately-subsequent British legislation settled that issue by including "firearms" where only longbows had previously been allowed.
Try again, Camera Hogg.
