Who Does Casting/Writing of Radio Ads?

Whoever does the casting for radio ads--selecting the voice and directing the delivery of the lines--should be.......ahhh.......placed somewhere.........permanently.

TrueCar (which, by the way, is a "shiny object here!!!" game) and some sort of "Bible" health insurance plan both advertise to excess on one local station.

In the TrueCar case, the text of the ad is apparently written for moron listeners, which should tell you something about TrueCar, people.

In the "Bible" health insurance ad, the voice is mimicking Jeff Goldblum.  Very, very, badly.  So badly that he manages to make the Goldblum style seem to be dripping with condescension to the listener.

IOW, we have two radio ads which blatantly suggest that listeners are idiots and only a vaguely girly-sounding voice will catch the attention of the moron audience.

aaaaaaaarrrrrghhhhh.....
