Rumor has it that at one local graduation party, the police had 50++ little darlings lined up for Breathalyzer testing.
Same rumor has it that the "adult"--a mom--who was the hostess-with-the-mostest at the party site spent some time in the City clink for her action, or lack thereof.
GOOD!
Perhaps 360 days as a guest of the State will improve her attitude and send a very good message to other "adults" about allowing or facilitating juvenile drunkenness.

Do parents get more stupid every day?
I don't know why this would thrill you. Don't tread on me doesn't apply on the weekend for you, does it?
So, Badger...you support breaking the law and giving alcohol to minors, right? Just want to be clear.
What an incredibly inane statement, Badger.
No, I don't have an issue with minors drinking. What can I say? I'm not a fundamentalist.
I don't think that fundamentalism has anything to do with laws regarding minors drinking. Quite frankly, I think COMMON SENSE has more to do with that law than anything.
Of course, no one said liberals have common sense.
If you don't believe fundamentalism has anything to do with being against minors drinking then you are ignorant of the history of prohibition.
...and Prohibition had, exactly, WHAT to do with minors drinking?
Further, are you familiar with the history of DUI--which, by the way, became a problem AFTER Prohibition was repealed?
Is this a breathless gossip site? Why the blind item? No facts to support the conclusion being jumped to? Hostess-with-the-mostest? Is this 1965?
I somewhat agree with Badger. This particular woman is certainly in the wrong - teenagers drunk together probably with no adult supervision. But kids who are exposed to responsible drinking with their own parents at family gatherings from an earlier age won't get caught up in all the "excitement" that the beer bonger crowd does. Drinking responsibly is a learned skill - best mastered with a loving parent and not some dude from school/college.
If the rumor is to be believed, there WAS "adult" supervision--the mom.
And Badger, you are wearing rose-colored glasses. For most people, responsible drinking begins after the first couple of porcelain-hugs or near-misses on the road.
No, I do not object to parents having a beer or two with their OWN children.
