Here's another breathless pearl-clutcher from The Daily Worker Journal-Sentinel.
Lobbyists who advised Frederick Prehn not to step down met with the leader of the Republican-controlled state Senate regarding the embattled Natural Resources Board chair's term weeks before his position expired, records show.
Past reporting showed that Prehn had communicated with Republican leaders regarding his decision to not step down from the board, as well as several lobbyists and other politicians; but new documents obtained by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel indicate that lobbyists became involved in the matter much sooner. ...
Oh.
"Much sooner." Now THAT makes a difference.
Under the law, Prehn doesn't have to step down until Tin-Pot Evers' nominee is confirmed by the State Senate. She isn't confirmed.
Thus the "EEEEEEEEEEEEEVIL CAPITALIST!!!" line.
Because Democrats never, ever, meet with, say, UNIONS about matters of governance.
