NBA is entertainment. But that doesn't mean that its players aren't thinkers.
"We’re entering a period of time where the government is setting a precedent that in light of any emergency, your personal autonomy, your religious freedom, and honestly your freedom as a whole, becomes negotiable to whoever is in power or whoever agrees with the people in power.”
“We live in the land of the free and the home of the brave and we have to take the opportunity and the platform to say what it is that we feel is right, and I’m taking that right to do so, not just for me, but for all the people who feel like they don’t have a voice, who feel like their rights and their liberties are being threatened at this time.”...--JJudah Isaac quoted at Red State
We are well-acquainted with an individual who will be fired in a month or so for refusing Teh Vaxx on religious grounds. Her employer actually didn't give a flying damn about granting an exemption on that basis, but wrote that in to their warning letter to make them seem like good guys.
They are not, as Mr. Isaac is about to find out.
