Janet Yellen, a hard-Left politician-with-portfolio, is asking for Congress to squash local banks under horribly expensive reporting requirements. And while she's at it, she wants the Government to know about every car payment you make.
So in order to make you feel good, she tells you that it's only the 'super-rich income tax crooks' that she's after.
Except she said the quiet part very loudly.
...Senator Cynthia Lummis, a Republican representing Wyoming, pointed out during a September 28 Senate hearing that the '$600 threshold is not usually where you're going to find the massive amount of tax revenue you think Americans are cheating you out of.'
Yellen replied: 'That's correct, but it's important to have comprehensive information so that individuals can't game the system and have multiple accounts.'...
....because 'super-rich' people drive from bank to bank opening $600.00 accounts to evade taxes?
