Jeffrey on Boehner's Upcoming Test: Implications for Ryan

Terry Jeffrey has a good question for Boehner (and for Paul Ryan, Budget Committee Chair).

By the end of September, when fiscal 2011 ends, House Speaker John Boehner must answer a simple yet profound question: Will he lead a Republican-controlled House of Representatives in enacting government funding bills for fiscal 2012 that allow tax dollars to flow to a group that kills an average of 910 unborn babies per day?

As we all know, Boehner caved in on a ban of funding Abortion Central in the continuing resolution, despite a majority of the House voting for the ban.

And since Paul Ryan writes the budget, the Jeffrey Question has other implications.

Minor point of order - The actual spending bills run through Appropriations, and thanks to Le Grande Debt Deal, the Budget Committee has nothing to do for a while (which explains why Ryan may well be running for President).

Still, the vote on the floor on said appropriation is fair game for everybody.
