The Doyle Party

Well, there are a couple of ways to interpret that post-title, eh?

There's the Doyle Party--the Democrats--who lost, big-time, in Wisconsin. They lost the Assembly. They lost the State Senate. They lost the Governorship. And they will not participate in re-districting the State based on the new Census. This is the Doyle Party (Whomped)--where even 'safe' Doylies like Sheridan, Snarlin' Marlin, and Decker flamed out.

Then there's the other Doyle Party (ies), which were held by Republicans. After all, Jim Doyle gave them this State's levers of power.

I'll never thank Doyle for what he did to this State.

But I'll give credit where it's due. Doyle personally and single-handedly demolished the Democrat Party in Wisconsin. Along with that, he made WEAC, the Tribes, and Trial Lawyers into yipping puppies at a table dominated by Big Dogs.

Nice work, Jim. But still no thanks, you corrupt, arrogant, bastard.

He cerainly didn't help, I will admit, but if you think they're dead and buried, guess again. That's what jughead Democrats said in 2008 about the Republican Party, and look what happened.

I'm looking forward to the screw-ups by Walker.

Well, OK. Doyle demolished them for THIS election.

But it COULD be for a long, long time.

Herbie's going to go from perma-nap to retirement. Who you gonna run? Feinie? Kagen? Barrett?

Friggin' mint.

The only thing I am anticipating more than last night are the continued sweeping changes in power in 2012. More conservatives.
