Obama's Fear? Rush Limbaugh

Another rookie mistake from the President.

The Drudge Report blared the New York Post report by Charles Hurt that President Obama told the Republicans in Congress that they should go along and get along, and stop listening to Rush Limbaugh: "You can't just listen to Rush Limbaugh and get things done."

Like referring to PRC's manipulation of its currency as "manipulation." It may be correct, but it's not how senior statesmen use the language on the record.

Here, Obama identified his principal (and principled, we add) opponent, knowing full well that Limbaugh speaks for the 58 million folks who voted for someone else last November.

Funny thing is, that's exactly what the Senate has been doing for the last couple of years so I'm not sure what his point is. I get the impression he just likes to hear himself talk because he things everything that blurts from his lips sounds smart.

I think we will find this President challenged with the adage of "better to be quiet and be thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt"

Obama makes an appeal to bipartisanship and you call him the devil. Figures.

As far as Limbaugh goes, I honestly believe he's a sociopath. He says what he says not because he believes it to be true, but because it amasses him a vast personal fortune. He pees on the country and lines his pockets. Most of the angry ignorant schmucks who listen to him end up getting screwed the worst.

Scott, please point out precisely where I referred to Obama as 'the devil' in the above post.

Precisely, now. No speculations.

And while we're at it, how is Limbaugh a sociopath? You Lefty's are un-hinged. he scares the hell out of you because, in your heart, you know he's right.

If the definition of a sociopath is someone who lines his pockets by spewing crap to make people afraid... What does that make Al Gore?

Oh - and Scott - an appeal to bipartisanship is not telling everyone on the other side to shut up and sit down because your side "won".

A true appeal to bipartisanship would have been to listen to opposing views and probably even work a few of the best ideas into the proposal.

He's a sociopath because he knowingly and intentionally spreads half-truths, lies, and misinformation daily to millions of poor Americans to get them to vote against their best interests. And as Scott said, it's done to line his own pockets. He helps the Neocons because they think they're above paying taxes, for some reason. When you reach greed of these proportions, it's a mental illness. No one person is worth 100 million dollars. No one.

Jeff, you can re-define "sociopath" any way you wish, and live in your own world with your definitions.

Of COURSE Limbaugh does his show for the money--and he gets paid.

As to the 100 million dollar stuff: have you told the entertainment and sports industries about your new law?

Jeff: If that's your definition of sociopath, there's a bunch of them on Capitol Hill. And in the Statehouse. Many (I'd say most, but that's my opinion) on your side of the aisle.
