Iran (?), Trump, Water System Attacks

 You've heard (from NBC) that the water-system attacks are 'likely by Iran.'

Oh.

Read the excerpt here, from Breitbart:

...Emily Zimmer, a spokesperson for Minnesota’s information technology services agency, said Thursday there was no indication the breaches had contaminated any municipal water supplies. The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency issued a separate alert saying some larger attacks on water infrastructure had led to boil water notices and sustained manual operations, though it did not disclose locations.

Neither Minnesota officials nor the federal government have publicly attributed the activity in Minnesota to a specific threat actor. The FBI and EPA also did not identify who was responsible for the breaches reported in the other six states....

Then--in context--read Trump's comment.  "Context" is what the MSM doesn't want you to see.

...President Donald Trump addressed the Minnesota attack in remarks to reporters Friday at Camp David, criticizing state leadership and Gov. Tim Walz, the Democratic vice presidential nominee in the 2024 election. “I think I blame it on Minnesota because they’re grossly incompetent,” Trump said. “I would blame it on Minnesota and the governor, the corrupt governor of Minnesota. They like to say, ‘Oh, it’s Iran.’ Iran should be so lucky. Iran’s got bigger problems than worrying about Minnesota.” ...

The source of the "Iran Did It" jabbering is some internet-security outfit.  Not too surprising that the NYPost reports on it:

 ...The self-proclaimed “Cyberav3ngers” group appeared to carry out the attacks which hit seven states in recent months, according to cybersecurity company Tenable, which told The Post the devious group began posting on the dark web about plans to hit the US within weeks of war breaking out with Iran.

“We listened or observed them kind of declaring that they were going to start targeting US Water infrastructure in in North America,” Tenable Public Sector Chief Technology Officer Chris Day said. “We started tracking activity back in April, right around the beginning of the Iran War.”...

Well, maybe--kinda--iffish--dunno fer shure---

... There remains no concrete proof that the Cyberav3ngers were actually behind the attacks or are even IRGC proxies, but Day said the attacks bore all the fingerprints of both the group’s and Iran’s known tactics in cyberwarfare....

That leads to a question:

Was it "Iran", or was it someone else----like the country which invented Stuxnet?
