There is Gun Owners of America, and there is the National Rifle Association.
GOA is the "no compromise" organization. The NRA likes to compromise (although Wayne LaPierre, a compromiser-cancer in that body, has finally been excised.)
With LaPierre gone, NRA may once again be a good choice.
