The Captain is a committed Calvinist. He attended their seminary before becoming part of the nuclear Navy and embarking on a career in nuclear electricity.
He's also a very well-informed hunting and guns guy.
So it is painful to note that he notices what's going on in the Church in Ireland.
Catholic Evangelizes repentance from sin and proselytizes spreading the Gospel; the church apologizes.
One wishes there was a good response to his question other than that 'Bishops sin, too.'
And it would be very nice if that particular Bishop understood the meaning of the word "SCANDAL."
He'll get a chance to find out; hopefully, not too late for his immortal soul.
