Conservatives, the Alt Right, and anti-vaxxers have prescribed themselves as able to "the 'right to lie'" by over-simplifying stories to maintain their narrative, and there is a predictable tragedy of the commons. Once the right to lie exists it serves the purposes of this group to continue to push the Fake News agenda. They are further emboldened by claiming it has no immunity from liability even when they push false information. Let's properly vet Dr. Malone.

On his personal website, Twitter, and LinkedIn, Dr. Robert Malone has been promoting himself as the inventor of mRNA vaccines. This is misleading. In 1989, Malone published a paper titled "Cationic liposome-mediated RNA transfection." While this paper is an example of his important contribution to the then-emerging field, it does not make him the inventor of mRNA vaccines.
