Over the last several years, the US Chamber of Commerce has consistently opposed the best interests of US citizens. Its real interests are those of the Global 250 that fund it. That's fair; it's what the Chamber is paid to do; but don't think that the USCC is your friend.
...In a campaign, the Chamber of Commerce — representing corporate interests — is urging members of Congress to “enact infrastructure legislation now” ahead of the August recess.
“We are taking nothing for granted, and we’re continuing to work with every senator to guarantee growing support through this process to get to the final passage vote,” Chamber of Commerce executive Ed Mortimer told The Hill....
This bill is poison for the US dollar. That's the dollar you use to buy food, shelter, and fuel. After this monster goes through, your dollar will be toilet paper. Try buying food, shelter, and fuel with that.
In addition:
As Breitbart News has detailed, the bill would, among other things:
- Allow federal agencies to bypass “Buy American” rules
- Define “gender identity” as a protected class of citizens
- Provide no funding for a border wall at the U.S.-Mexico border
- Impose state-mandated carbon reduction programs
- Use racial quotas to expand broadband across the U.S.
- Fund processing centers to quickly move migrants into the U.S.
Putting boys into your daughter's shower room? Adding a few million people to the welfare rolls? And "Buy Chinese Commie" parts?
Yup. The Chamber of Commerce loves it.
