Don't think for one second that this isn't hardball.
Wisconsin authorities will launch an investigation into the state's Catholic dioceses and religious orders to determine how many clergy members have sexually assaulted children over the years....
This witch hunt follows a report of abuse in Green Bay in the 1980's; the victim committed suicide.
Back in the 1980's, a large number of priests--mostly homosexuals--were found to have been abusing teenage boys. The phenomenon is called "ephebophilia" which is NOT the same as "pedophilia". The latter denotes abuse of pre-pubescent children, male or female. (Note that the news article sloppily refers to "children" rather than "teenagers and children".)
Since then, here have been a few scattered reports around the State.
Wisconsin A.G. Kaul apparently intends to rummage through Church records to see if he can find unreported cases. But that's not his primary goal; the first objective has already been partially accomplished: drag the Church through mud. Kaul is a nasty little partisan twit straight out of the Coie mold and a carpetbagger to boot. He has no significant accomplishments as A.G. in crime-fighting, nor in civil matters. This will also serve as a "re-elect ME" advertisement if he manages to find something.
And that'll warn those uppity Catholics to sue for their Free Exercise rights!!

They need to investigate school districts as well. Quite a few hanging out there, based on arrest records.
