It's reported today (Friday) that SCOAMF repeated his "$5 Trillion" lie at some college someplace.
Too bad that his own spox agrees: it's a lie.

Both stipulate that the "tab" for the 20% tax cut is 5 trillion dollars. The point is that nobody really knows what the net effect is going to be because Romney won't way what deductions will be eliminated to offset the tax rate cuts. And there are not enough tax deductions to cut to make up for 5 trillion dollars. Which is why it is mathematically impossible to claim that high earners won't pay any less taxes after receiving a 20% tax cut.
