Wait, Wait! It's GROWING!!

The anthropogenic freezing crowd is near at hand.

Antarctic sea ice set another record this past week, with the most amount of ice ever recorded on day 256 of the calendar year (September 12 of this leap year). --Vox quoting Forbes.

Quick!  Crank up the coal-burners!

Sea ice sits atop the water.

You earn points for distraction.

Quoting Forbes makes it sound so official. You forget to mention that is a blog item at Forbes written by a Senior Fellow (a guy with a fellowship, not an old British guy) at the Heartland Institute , another Koch outfit. Oh, and a lawyer, not a scientist. If you'd like the perspective of actual scientists, this is a good start (http://www.livescience.com/23333-record-high-antarctic-sea-ice-levels-don-t-disprove-global-warming.html). Be sure to follow the links, especially this one (http://ossfoundation.us/projects/environment/global-warming/antarctic-ice-melt) which differentiates between sea ice mass and extent; very enlightening.

By the way, I wouldn't be commenting here had you taken my very easy challenge from a few months back. I HAVE noticed that the climate posts have been noticeably fewer and further between though. It's not too late. I'll still agree to the terms should you care to take me up.

Here's that non-requited challenge should you need to re-acquaint yourself. http://dad29.blogspot.com/2012/05/follow-money-folks.html
