Holder's giving a speech about "voting rights" today, and last week a few dozen people showed up in NYC to protest "vote suppression"--or whatever. It's not a co-incidence.
The American Civil Liberties Union sued the state of Wisconsin Tuesday over a new law requiring voters to show state-issued photo identification, charging that the measure violates the U.S. Constitution.
That's followed by all the usual b.s. to 'splain why zillions of voters will be dis-enfranchised by the eeeeeeeeeeevil Walker Reich.
Told 'ya so!

The Republican National Lawyers Association did a study on voter fraud, the supposed rationale for voter photo ID.
They found 308 convictions for voter or election fraud in 46 states over the past TEN YEARS. Repeat: 308 convictions nationwide in 10 years.
Check the link and you will find that of the 308 convictions, only 31 were for multiple voting (25) or voter impersonation (6). I think it's debatable that a photo ID would stop the multiple voting. So that leaves six (6) convictions for voter impersonation in 46 states in TEN YEARS!
The other convictions were for felon voting, registration fraud, absentee ballot fraud, non-citizen voting, mis-handling of ballots, none of which would be mitigated by a photo ID.
Republican lawyers. Six convictions. Ten years.
Voter ID laws are designed for voter suppression. Period.
