Only 22% Rate Hike? What's the Problem?

The EPA's new rules won't just shut down one-eighth of the country's electric generation.

It'll also cost you a bunch of money.

The CSAPR Rule, along with other utility regulations expected in November, are projected to increase electric rates in Wisconsin by nearly 22 percent by the year 2016 according to a recent study issued by the American Coalition for Clean Coal Electricity. The same study predicted the rules will result in 24,500 lost jobs in Wisconsin.

EPA, pulling numbers out of its a**, claims that "health will improve" and "lives will be saved."

If EPA were paved over with concrete tomorrow, my health would improve.  See!!  I can make stuff up just as well as EPA can.
