The "Both"/"Neither" Romney Position

Romney is certainly the slickest of the bunch.

Too bad that people keep track of what he says, eh?

...during his last presidential campaign, Romney insisted the U.S. Constitution needed a federal marriage amendment because, he said, “I think every child deserves a mom and a dad.

That was then.  This is now!!

...Mitt Romney, a Republican presidential candidate, believes that adoption of children by same-sex couples is an issue that should be decided on a state-by-state basis, according to campaign spokesman Ryan Willliams.

In 2006, while Governor of Massachusetts, it was this:

...Romney told the Boston Globe that same-sex couples have “a legitimate interest in being able to receive adoptive services.”

So it's a Federal (Constitutional) issue AND a States' Rights issue.

Sure.

And tea partiers will still vote for him as the "lesser of two evils" so who cares when he wins the (R) nomination. So much for principles.
