AG Gets NastyGram from NRA

It does seem that the AG's office is taking a long, long, time.

NRA's primary concern is that Van Hollen's Department of Justice will require training courses for concealed weapons to last at least four hours and include hands-on firearms training.

"We are frankly disappointed with the grudging attitude (the Department of Justice) has taken toward this law," says the letter from Chris W. Cox, executive director of the NRA's Institute for Legislative Action.

NRA is unhappy with the AG's "4 hours of training" requirement and with some administrative stuff like signatures, locations, (etc.).  NRA's concern revolves around 'cost-of-license' on the training thing.   One suspects that the admin stuff is just tossed in to make the letter a little longer.

So?  Van Hollen carries; he's happy.
