The Sensenbrenner Excuses

Yada, yada, yada.

Congressman Sensen writes to advise:

".....allowing the US to default would have serious negative consequences...."

Yup. But "default" wasn't even close to happening, Jim. You had about 20-30 more days to sweat the bastards.

".....cuts spending more than it increases the debt limit..."

Uh-huh. The debt is now MORE than the GDP. Took what? Two days to get there?

"requires a vote on the BBA...."

You mean an Amendment which puts the Courts in charge of spending and taxation?

"We can no longer operate on a business-as-usual basis...."

No kidding! Where were you when the chips were down, Jim?

Senselessbrenner needs a Tea party challenger to keep him honest.
