Chris Christie, Clintonesque Parser

It's pretty well-known that Chris Christie is very shaky on Second Amendment matters.

Now it's clear that he's trying to thread a needle by dumping on the Catholic Church in matters homosexual.

Union-bashing is not a Presidential platform, Chris. Best work on growing a pair.

Contrast Abp. Dolan's message to New York State legislators who are considering homosex "marriage":

“In those countries [North Korea, PRChina], government presumes daily to ‘redefine’ rights, relationships, values, and natural law,” he continued. “There, communiqués from the government can dictate the size of families, who lives and who dies, and what the very definition of ‘family’ and ‘marriage’ means.”

The archbishop asserted that it is an “undeniable truth” that marriage is “one man, one woman, united in lifelong love and fidelity, hoping for children.”

Dolan also said that the same-sex “marriage” issue is not about “true freedom” but “the liberty to do what we ought” and that not every “chic cause” deserves to be called a right.

Christie DID say that he was not in favor of homosex "marriage" while skittering, equivocating, and accepting the seriously-flawed premise of the question "Is homosexuality immoral?"

We're told you are smart, Chris. Really?
