Will Feingold's Poison Lightbulb Mandate Stand?

Rusty Feingold exercised his Superior Judgment and Knowledge to force you to put poison lightbulbs into your homes by 2012.

Fortunately, Texas elected someone who doesn't have Rusty Feingold's Statist Superiority complex.

...it seems that Cong. Joe Barton (R-TX) and some others in the House -- having seen enough, so much that even the Washington Post is stirred to something resembling sympathy and sober analysis (for the Post) -- have returned from recess with plans to introduce a bill tomorrow rolling back the absurd, abusive intrusion of the light bulb ban-slash-mandate. A straight repeal.

The first in a long list of straight repeals which will be coming, beginning January 2011.

I have a very large, and growing, collection of incandescent bulbs and add new ones every time I go to the store. I should have enough to survive if the repeal doesn't go through.
