Russ Feingold Voted for the Ten Lies of ObamaCare

The Top Ten Lies of ObamaCare--Broken Promises Edition.

Feingold voted for them...because he's a "maverick" and "fiscally responsible."

Uh-huh. (Realistic assessment of Feingold below.)

  • Promise #1: If you are satisfied with your existing health care arrangement, you can keep it.
  • Promise #2: Reform will lower America’s health care spending.
  • Promise #3: Reform will lower Americans’ health care premiums.
  • Promise #4: Obamacare will not lead to a doctor shortage, or escalate the primary-care physician shortfall.
  • Promise #5: There will be no government rationing of medical care.
  • Promise #6: “The firm pledge” – Ninety-five percent of Americans will not see any form of tax increase because of Obamacare (or anything else).
  • Promise #7: Health care reform won’t add “a single dime” to the deficit—and will actually cut it.
  • Promise #8: Health care reform will help businesses—employers and employees, alike.
  • Promise #9: Obamacare will not allow for funding of abortions with taxpayer money.
  • Promise #10: Obamacare will not only satisfy each of the promises above, but satisfy all of them at the same time with virtually no downsides.
Feingold is a shopworn condescending, arrogant Statist babykiller. What's a few lies on top of that?

#1 You have no proof that this isn't true for the vast majority of people.

#2 That wasn't promised. The promise was to lower the increase in health care spending.

#3 Don't think that was promised either. Promise was to slow the increase in premiums.

#4 No real proof that a shortage will occur. And if it were to happen, we should figure out how to add more doctors, not keep people from having access to them.

#5 There will ALWAYS be some kind of rationing of health care. Always has been; always will. Resources of any kind are finite. The question is should it be done based on profit.

#6 Can you prove this is not true?

#7 The CBO says this and you have no proof that it is untrue.

#8 You have no proof that this is untrue.

#9 You have no proof that this is untrue.

#10 Nobody ever made this promise.

Actually Jim. If you link thru to the original (very lengthy) post. Back-up to all of the 10 lies is pretty thoroughly laid out.

You evidently don't pay attention to the Friday night news dumps.

Denial ain't just a river in Egypt it seems.
