Buy More Ammo? Yup. You Did!

What "Bush tax cuts"?

In October 2009, firearms and ammunition excise tax collection climbed 45 percent from the previous fiscal year, the greatest annual increase in the firearms tax revenue in the agency's history, the report said. By comparison, the average annual increase for fiscal years 1993 to 2008 was 6 percent.

And it's not going to diminish in the next FY, either.

Ol' JimSpice should be concerned....

Concerned, what, that there won't be enough to go around? Nope. I'm well stocked, but thanks for thinking of me.

You're well stocked? Well glad to know Dad29's messaging has worked.

Oh, the hypocrisy.

jimspice said...

Hypocrisy? I don't get it.

A bleeding-heart liberal who continually attacks D29's mantra is actually stock-piling himself?

How do YOU define 'hypocrisy'?

What, you don't think liberals own guns too? You don't know many liberals, do you? We hunt and protect our homes and businesses too, you know. We just don't need an M16 to do it, and we see the benefits of registration.

And there is a difference between "well stocked" and "stockpiling."

As for my criticism of Dad29, it's based on his incessant call to prepare for violent overthrow of the government. What, the guy has never been on the losing end of an election before? "Oh no, they're going to provide everyone with HEALTH INSURANCE! The FASCISTS!!!" The Ds are slightly less center-right than the Rs. Get a grip!

You accusing me of sedition? B/C if you are, you'd better be able to back it up.

And I don't have an M-16, nor an AR-15. They're popguns.

Or what, you'll shoot me with one of the big guns to which you allude?

Yesterday when I pointed out your veiled threat of "Wonder if Bammy and his band contemplated the possibility of civil disobedience?" you replied with "Doesn't look 'Veiled' to me. It's in pixels, Jim. It's forever." That, coupled with your constant urge (once Obama was elected) to "buy more ammo", I don't find it very difficult to connect the dots.

I could go back through your posts and dozens more examples. So here's your chance. If you were NOT contemplating sedition, what the hell WERE you talking about. Cause it sure sounds that way.

Unnnhhhh....just for your own edification, my IQ is above room temperature.

If I were a seditionist and calling for an armed insurrection, I sure as Hell wouldn't be advertising it on a blog.

But it's always useful to be prepared in case the LeftOWackies start trouble.

Which they will.

Au contraire, my comrade, you DO promote it in a nefarious, underhanded manner.

"But it's always useful to be prepared in case the LeftOWackies start trouble."

The Christians whom I know turn the other cheek and engage in CIVIL, RATIONALE discourse and good old fashioned civil disobedience sans the violent references and "old Southern ways" rhetoric.

JimSpice, you and I both know the truth. Dad29 can deny it all he wants.

Really?

Like the Irish "Christians" (Northern and Southern) of 20 years ago? The "Christians" who populated the Labor movement in the first half of the 20th century--or, for that matter, the SEIU of the last few years?

More important, and a distinction which escaped you: a Christian most certainly MAY 'turn the other cheek' and even subject himself to martyrdom.

But a Christian man or woman worthy of the name does not offer his/her FAMILY as subjects of martyrdom, nor that FAMILY's necessities.

Finally, it's clear that you don't recall US history well. The signers of the Declaration were, by and large, "Christian." And about half of them were not "Southern."

Do you have a deep-seated hatred for Southern men, anony? Is it because they act like real men, Anony?

Lot of Virginians among the Founders. On the other hand, it was New Hampshire and Maryland that actually wrote the right to overthrow the government into their original constitutions.

As a Southerner, I have to tip my hat to our Northern brethren on the point. It's the 'old Northern ways' that are really at work here; and after all, where were Lexington & Concord? Or that first Tea Party?

Want to take credit for this guy, D29?

Dad29 said...

Unnhhh...

Nope.

It's Obama's fault, as is clear from reading the article.
