Good news.
Industrial production advanced 1.2 percent in May after having risen 0.7 percent in April. Manufacturing output climbed 0.9 percent last month, its third consecutive monthly gain of about 1 percent, and was 7.9 percent above its year-earlier level. --FRB via CalcRisk
However, the ECRI Index has been drifting downward for a few months--which means that the caution flag is still out.

Its really not that promising out there. Folks are seeing VERY minor improvements, but don't expect hiring any time soon.
