This chart excludes food and energy. Perhaps you notice a spike on the right-hand side?
The Federal inflation-watchers don't see it. Some Big Name Radio Guys don't see it.
So it is not there!

Whew! I sure am glad that I was mistaken about paying more for items. Thought I was going nutso for a minute. Thanks, Dad! What would we do without ye?!
