This is stretching it, no?

 A federal court judge on Tuesday ruled that embattled Federal Reserve Governor Lisa Cook can remain at her post while she contests President Trump’s efforts to fire her over allegations she committed mortgage fraud. 

“At this preliminary stage, the Court finds that Cook has made a strong showing that her purported removal was done in violation of the Federal Reserve Act’s ‘for cause’ provision,” Washington, DC-based District Judge Jia M. Cobb wrote in her 49-page ruling. ...

Here's the weird stuff :

 ....The judge determined that under the central bank’s “for cause” provision, Federal Reserve governors can only be removed “for behavior in office” and for not “faithfully and effectively executing their statutory duties.” 

“‘For cause’ thus does not contemplate removing an individual purely for conduct that occurred before they began in office,” Cobb wrote. ...

OK.  So mortgage fraud BEFORE regulating banks is just fine and dandy.

Got it. 

Gov'ment Spying On You? Nope: WORSE Than That

 If you think--or "know"--that some damn Fed is spying on you because you express your utter and total disdain for them in terms which are not polite, or because you make it clear that Statists, no matter their Party Label, are likely totes corrupt, or because you made a light-hearted reference to smacking a Congressional Poohbah with a golf club...........well, you are probably correct.

But even if you did NONE of those things, you may be on a list.

 Sundance was subpoenaed to appear before the notorious J6 Committee Court of Star Chamber.  Said bunch of jackals, nincompoops, and America-haters claimed they had proof of his nefarious activities surrounding J6.

But in reality--and you will be shocked here:

Think about what was discovered here.

As a result: (a) they had been doing this for a long time with a specific goal in mind; and (b) they created an elaborate trail of background activity and identity that was entirely fabricated.....

If we were bettors, we'd bet that Tucker Carlson is in exactly the same position, except they have not yet pulled the trigger.

Yet.

You can think of others.

Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean that they are NOT after you......

A review by FEMA’s Insider Threat Program (ITP) flagged one IT Services Division worker — who held a top secret clearance — for logging into Facebook Messenger on the agency’s unclassified network and sexting with someone believed to be in the Philippines, records show....

The Fed IS The Problem

 We don't have WSJ access, so Wolf Street provides the short version of Bessent's shotgunning of that decrepit and.........shall we say........... "elitist-favoring" institution............just to be charitable.

 ...Secretary of the Treasury Scott Bessent came out today with an essay in the WSJ that blasted the Fed for its “extraordinary” and “nonstandard” monetary policies since 2008, such as QE; its “pursuit of the Wealth Effect”; its interventions that became a “de facto backstop for asset owners,” thereby concentrating “national wealth among those who already owned assets.” He blasted the Fed as bank regulator, citing the SVB collapse. He skewered the Fed for having caused home prices to soar, while “younger and less affluent households, shut out of ownership and hit hardest by inflation, missed out on appreciation.”

“By failing to deliver on its inflation mandate, the Fed allowed class and generational disparities to widen,” he wrote. And much more....

Kinda puts it all in perspective, eh?  And it is not just "interest rates."  Not by a long shot.  (Did the Fed slap Jamie's JPMorganChase with a fine or penalty for its money-laundering participation re:  Epstein?  Isn't that a criminal conspiracy--at least after the fact?)

Behind the "Job Loss" Reports

Another factoid the MSM's "highly-trained professional" journalists propagandists don't mention.

 ...Losses of civilian jobs at the federal government reached 15,000 in August. Over the past three months, the federal government shed 34,000 jobs (three-month average job loss of 11,000). Since January, the federal government has shed 97,000 civilian jobs.

The government flipped from a job creation machine through 2024 to a job shedding machine in 2025.

This does not include jobs at government contractors, whose job losses due to canceled or paused government contracts show up in private sector categories, such as Professional & business services, Information, and other sectors.

State governments shed 13,000 jobs in August, the fourth month in a row of job losses. Over those four months, state government shed 33,000 jobs.

Combined, federal and state governments shed 28,000 jobs in August and 56,000 jobs over the past three months....

Real jobs--those in the private sector--are doing OK.  More at the link above; see, in particular, the second graph in the post.

This Won't Happen in WI

 Another reason to elect a Republican Governor.

Meanwhile in FL and TN the State troopers have shown up doing some targeted (by area) enforcement and yes, they've arrested and transported a bunch of illegal aliens.  Here's the thing: Their "hit rate", that is, the percentage of stops that has in fact led to an arrest, and the percentage of those arrests that had a criminal charge associated with them, not a mere civil offense such as an overstay, has been very high.  If you had cops anywhere in the United States stopping people for traffic violations on "concentrate here" basis and came up with half of the stops leading to a criminal arrest -- not a civil matter, but a criminal arrest -- you'd think the people would cheer your efficiency with their taxpayer dollars that are funding said department....

Not in a million years will a Democrat Governor in Wisconsin allow that sort of thing.  First off, they don't care about crime (see, e.g., Mayor "Corvair" Johnson of MKE's useless mewling and TeeeeVeee yappings.)  Secondly, deporting your VOTERS is never a good idea.  Yes, they are D voters, if nothing else than by Democrat vote-fraud schemes.

If Corvair were half-serious about crime, he would--EVERY DAY--name a County Judge who lets serious perps walk out on tiny little bail requirements.  EVERY DAMN DAY.  He won't.  They're all his buddies.  Same with the Milwaukee County DA.  He don't give a damn, either.

Wonder why the City is losing population? 

What IS "America"? What Should Be Its Law?

Here's another item exposing the reality of "America," in this case from Davidson via Vox.

 I’m sure you’ve heard about that young Ukrainian refugee murdered by a thug on a Charlotte light rail train. And the only reason you heard of it is because a local Charlotte TV channel got ahold of the video....

The perp, a homeless with a very long record, is in slam.

Then PowerLine quotes the Mayor-ette who disapproves of Professional Journalism:

 The video of the heartbreaking attack that took Iryna Zarutska’s life is now public. I want to thank our media partners and community members who have chosen not to repost or share the footage out of respect for Iryna’s family.

The Mayorette also called the crime a "tragic situation."  Yes.  It is--for her regime.  The Mayorette rattles on: 

 “We will never arrest our way out of issues such as homelessness and mental health,” Lyles said. “Mental health disease is just that — a disease like any other that needs to be treated with the same compassion, diligence and commitment as cancer or heart disease.”

And PowerLine says the obvious:  

 The murder isn’t the real crime. The real crime is noticing the murder.

So long as MKE "professional reporters" brown-nose politicians to keep their precious "access", you will not have reports like this one in Charlotte.  (We grant that there are a couple of hard-nosed TeeeeVeeee types in MKE, by the way; one is 58's MPS attack dog; the other is 6's "Investigator.")

Justice Amy Almost Gets It

 Amy "Mom" Barrett is pouring cold water on the "Constitutional Crisis" yapping from the Usual Suspects--consisting largely of the MSM and some deranged Libertarians and their running-dog Progressives.

(We will skip the first graf at the link due to NBC's poisoning-the-well approach to "reporting.") 

 ...Barrett, a Trump appointee who is part of the Supreme Court's 6-3 conservative majority, defended the Supreme Court as an institution and said Americans should have faith in its ability to address probing problems with integrity.

"I think the Constitution is alive and well," Barrett said in an interview with Bari Weiss, hosted by the Free Press in New York, to promote her new book.

"I don't know what a constitutional crisis would look like. I don't think that we are currently in a constitutional crisis, however," she added. "I think our country remains committed to the rule of law. I think we have functioning courts."...

Weiss is in the process of leaving the Progressive LaLaLand, by the way.

In the next couple of grafs, NBC throws more poison into the well, just in case you didn't read the first graf.  We'll skip that crapola, too. 

But then Amy puts on her Mommy Hat and blows the call:

Asked about lower courts handling emergency cases, Barrett struck a conciliatory tone, saying, "Our district court judges work so hard to get it right." 

No. They do not, Amy.  That's why Gorsuch wrote that scathing nastygram last week, remember? 

Prisoner Cell Phones To Be Blocked (!)

 You would think that the Biden (or any other) Administration would have done this years ago.  But then, maybe you think that Government peeps are as bright as they think they are.

[ FCC Chief] Carr announced alongside leaders including Arkansas Attorney General Tim Griffin and other local public safety officials, that the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) will move in September to allow prisons to jam cellphone activity in prisons. This proposal follows thousands of contraband cellphones having swarmed into prisons across the country to coordinate call-in hits and gang activity and to aid criminal enterprises....

Prisoners are not allowed to have cellphones in the first place.  Yah........rrrrright.

The action is merely an improved interpretation of some FCC language.

You can expect the Insurrectionist Judge(s) to block the Trump changes on Day One, of course.

But take a good look at the actualities:

That’s a rate of 3 cases per 100,000 of the population, part of the trajectory after an all time low in 2020 which began increasing in 2021 and has continued through at least 2024....

Hmmmm.

A number of dead children found.

That is how Democrats treat brown-skinned or black-skinned children.  It's their legacy from the old days of slave-holding.

 Just a sample of RFKjr's rebuttals--and a very, very, good one at that.

A very good question for Little Tammy Baldwin, except we know she doesn't give a flying damn about children.
