Ron Johnson Defends National Defense

Given the craven soy-boy "leadership" in the Pentagon,  RoJo's request may never be granted.

The Pentagon has repeatedly stonewalled a congressional investigation into the Biden administration’s coronavirus vaccine mandate for military members and is withholding information about the number of active-duty service members who could be expelled from the military for refusing the vaccine.

For four months, Sen. Ron Johnson (R., Wis), ranking member of the Senate’s Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations, has been pressing the Defense Department to turn over information related to the military’s coronavirus vaccine mandate, including the total number of shots administered across all service branches. The Pentagon has broken its promise to provide this information on two separate occasions, generating accusations the Biden administration is withholding this data from Congress....

Yes, it IS a Big Deal.

In the middle of an essay reviewing Kopel's book on property and gun rights, Zmirak quotes Kopel quoting a line from St. Augustine which is pretty damned provocative in these times.....

Alberta's Bill? A Disaster

We had reservations about the Alberta Darling bill which would break up Milwaukee Public Schools into 4 different districts.  Frankly, all that will do is create four new and large bureaucracies to suck even more dollars away from educating children.

What Darling (and Robin Vos, and all the rest of the "conservatives") are stiff-arming, ignoring, and refusing to bring to the table?

Universal School Choice.

Wherein EVERY parent gets to send their child to ANY school, public or private, which meets that child's needs.

That's what we should all get behind.  

So here's the question:  why does Alberta keep sending more and more tax dollars to schools--which are falling on their collective asses educationally--instead of working to empower parents?

Why do Robin Vos and Devin LeMahieu (who inherited his seat) ignore this possibility?

"Great Resignation"?

Some conservative pundits use the term "Great Resignation" to natter on about the Fauci-caused workplace problem of 2020.  

Problem is, they're STILL using it, when the numbers don't really support the claim.  That's because they're so focused on killing Biden (he's already dead) that they won't look at 2021 and 2022 (so far).

Before Fauci--in 2019--there were 130.6 million full-time employees in America.  AFTER Fauci's massacre of business, roughly the end of 2020, it was down to 123.19 million.

Today, it's back up to 127.6 million.

And according to BLS, there are only about 1 million more "Not In Labor Force" than last year--and about 5.7 million looking for work.

Doesn't look like a "resignation."  Looks more like a Fauci-cession but on the mend, for the time being.

Mark Levin, Off the Deep End Again

It is reported by Briggs that Levin is pounding the daylights out of the WAR WAR WAR drums.

He does that a lot, but usually Levin's concern is about Israel.  Why Ukraine?  It's handy, I guess.

Nah.  Levin--along with the Usual NeoCons and a few other Highly Smart pains in the ass--will never, ever, learn the manual of arms for an M-4, nor will any of his children wind up on an actual battlefront.
