Perhaps Trump & Co. have gotten the message to GTHO of Israel's war on Iran.
...The U.S. and Iran could reach a deal on Tuesday or Wednesday to reopen the Strait of Hormuz with freedom of movement for commercial ships, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said in an interview.
“We are in talks with the Iranians,” Bessent told CNBC’s “Squawk Box.” “There is a chance we may have a deal today or tomorrow to open the strait and move towards a more normalized position in this conflict.”
“It would be freedom of movement,” the Treasury Secretary said when asked whether Iran would be allowed to charge a toll....
Naturally, the Israeli Propagandists were a day or two ahead of this announcement, declaring that a US accommodation with Iran would TOTES END the value of the US dollar. Forever. In the tank. Wimmin and Chilluns hardest hit. Granny off the cliff.
You know the routine.
Well, maybe, and maybe not. The value of the USD also depends on the continuing (increasing) strength of the US economy, DEBT REDUCTION, and re-homing vital industries within the US. The Saudis are not stupid enough to piss all over the USD if the US continues to be a very major buyer of their (only) product AND a home for their Sovereign Wealth Fund investments.
So Bessent's remark portends something good.
We hope.
Natually, Israel will try to find a way to blow up this rapprochement. Just watch.

Wait, another “deal” proposed by Trump to break yet again?
Remember, Bibi said “no, thanks” to the latest military escalation by Trump to save his ass in the region. Now Trump is back at negotiating? How embarrassing.
