Here's how a tax-taker "thinks."
...Today, the campus is a shell of what UW-Washington County used to be. There are some pick-up sports games, a couple of vending machines and a library that closes before 5 p.m.
About 340 students signed up for classes last fall, marking the school’s lowest enrollment dating back a half century....[In 2010 or so, enrollment was 1,000.]
...UWM’s other branch campus has double the number of students that UW-Washington County has, providing a bit of an enrollment buffer. About 800 students signed up for classes at UW-Waukesha last fall. But the rate of the enrollment decline there since 2018 is about the same as at UW-Washington County, according to a Milwaukee Journal Sentinel analysis.
At both campuses, every year since the merger has marked a new all-time enrollment low....

So what's the "thought" of the UW-M Chancellor, Mone?
... UWM Chancellor Mark Mone said closure isn’t under consideration for either of his branch campuses. In fact, he said the university has put more money into the schools this school year than it did three years ago, despite Washington County and Waukesha enrolling fewer students....
Of course!! The solution to failure is Mo'MONEY!!!
What's worse? The fact that these people are 'educating' your children!
