If you think that Government employees "earn" their pensions and post-retirement benefits, think again.
Milwaukee County Clerk of Circuit Court John Barrett announced Wednesday that he planned to retire after decades with the county — but not before returning to a former position in another county department for one day in an effort to qualify for free retiree health insurance and to receive sick time and vacation day payouts....
...In moving back... he is seeking the fully county-paid health care benefits available under county ordinance to certain members of the union representing county attorneys.
The county has determined he is not eligible for that health care benefit. ...
Now get THIS whine!!
"My wife has Alzheimer's, I have heart disease, and I would like to have the [FREEE!!!!!] health insurance...
Poor, poor, Johnny. He's going to retire early and he's the only guy in the world with heart disease whose wife has the Big A and who can't possibly make it on what will be a HUGE cash pension. So he's going to screw the County out of $14,000 or so in unearned vacay and sick-day pay AND free health insurance.
(Note well: Bice "forgot" to mention Barrett's pension payment amount.)
All together now: AWWWWWWWWWWW. Snif. AWWWWWWWW.
Government Pig.
