The Biden*conomy!!
...Black Friday sales were down a significant 28.3% from pre-pandemic levels in 2019 [link]. The difference was not made up inside on-line sales as Cyber Monday had the first drop in sales in the history of tracking on-line sales [link]....
The Biden spinners are blaming it all on the un-vaccinated "previous buying"--like in SeptOber or something. But as Sundance observes, "previous buying" is not exactly a new phenomenon.
How about this one: spending is suppressed due to 1) anticipated inflationary costs for 2022; and 2) current inflated costs of fuel for heating and for vehicles.
Makes more sense to me, too!
