The White House on Friday all but refused to turn over the documents House Republicans have subpoenaed on bankrupt solar firm Solyndra, firing off a letter saying the request would put an "unreasonable burden on the president's ability to meet his constitutional duties."
There are lots of things which you--the taxpayer--do not NEED to know.
And Teh Won certainly isn't going to tell you.

That is not Dog Bites Man, that is impeachable offense. Failure to comply with a congressional subpoena is a misdemeanor. Too bad the R's are too mentally weak to do what needs to be done.... Save the country, impeach the idiotic marxist piece of crap before he finishes driving this nation into the dirt on behalf of the racist unions.
David
Obviously David has an anger management issue but most folks see this as just another political stunt. Karl Rove blew off a subpoena and the earth kept spinning. Settle down boy, pop some meds, and steady yourself for another five years of Obama.
Geez...David...
Do we actually agree on something?!
There's always hope...
And, of course, as per usual, liberalazzi AnonyWous (11/05/2011 11:33 PM) continues to be a complete sphincter...
Wipe yourself Anon (11/05/2011 11:33 PM)...your hemorrhoidal political views are bleeding...
...and none of us care.
(D) and (R) presidents have routinely invoked "executive privilege" on these matters. I, also, vehemently oppose this "authority".
Impeachable? Not sure about that, considering Congress did not go that route when presidents since the Reagan Administration used this "power".
And, St. Revolutuon, the only HOMICIDAL political views are YOURS!
The Real Zorro
There is a difference between refusing a subpeona on National Security Statute grounds and just flat out saying no.
If they will not impeach, I say zero out a few department budgets and see how much they like that.
I also think it would be best if they subpoena specific individuals and let the president try to wrap executive privilege around some Treasury Department intern.
Too bad none of them have the balls to slap this lying little prick back to Indonesia.
