Another Huge Deficit: Obama Budget

Holy smoke-and-ruins, Batman!

President Barack Obama is sending Congress a $3.8 trillion budget on Monday...The deficit for this year would surge to a record-breaking $1.6 trillion, according to a congressional official who had access to a White House summary document. That deficit would easily top last year's then unprecedented $1.41 trillion gap.

McConnell had the presence of mind to mention 'spending.' (Didn't know it was in his vocabulary.)

Teh Won will spend a LOT of money on "education."

Ejumacation?

Or Indoctrination?

That Organizing for America "High School Intern" program is chock full of lefty Progressive required reading including Alinsky and writings by the MoveOn folks.

You want to save money? Eliminate the Department of Education. I would also add the Department of Agriculture and Department of the Interior and Department of Homeland Security....

....and all are basically irrelavant solutions to our deficit woes.

Our long term budget deficit situation hinges almost exclusively on economic recovery boosting tax receipts and our solution to rising health care costs. Nothing else makes much of a difference if neither of these issues are resolved. Read anything from anyone who knows anything regarding this subject.

The rest of the budget is a sideshow.

Creating jobs and fixing health care should be THE two priorities to be resolved. Period. Obama's administration understands this full well, yet, his actions appear to have kicked the can down the road once again.

It's truly a shame considering the next guy will most likely come from an ideology who has neither the mental capability, nor the will to address either issue moving forward.
