NJ Vote Fraud, Chapter 2

Oh, yah.

...Plenty of reasons exist for suspecting absentee fraud may play a significant role in tomorrow's Garden State contests. Groups associated with Acorn in neighboring Pennsylvania and New York appear to have moved into the state. An independent candidate for mayor in Camden has already leveled charges that voter fraud is occurring in his city.

...The state has received a flood of 180,000 absentee ballot requests. On some 3,000 forms the signature doesn't match the one on file with county clerks. Yet citing concerns that voters would be disenfranchised, Democratic Party lawyer Paul Josephson wrote New Jersey's secretary of state asking her "to instruct County Clerks not to deny applications on the basis of signature comparison alone."

...Victor Negron, a campaign adviser for independent mayoral candidate Roberto Feliz, a former director of Camden's public works department, says he's shocked that more than fifteen times the normal number of voters are casting absentee ballots in Camden this year. In the 2005, when the city's voters voted for both governor and mayor on the same day, only 200 absentee ballots were cast. This year, some 3,700 have already been received. At least four voters have approached the Feliz campaign to complain that an absentee ballot was sent to them without their permission or cast for them without their understanding the documents they were signing

The usual damn fool (see combox here) doubts the stories, because in his alleged mind, vote-fraudsters wear a sign saying "I'm A Vote Fraudster." They don't do that, sorry to report.

Tom Barrett famously asked for "just one name," later being forced to eat that remark as Sykes figuratively jammed it down his throat after several convictions.

Since the justice system is 'post-facto,' people who are fraudulently abusing the system cannot be caught in advance by definition.

And that's the way the Party of Fraud (the D Party) likes it.

So anyone who even questions the legitimacy of those allegations you cited are being "damn fools"???
And any sources that are provided to refute those claims are automatically discounted??? Ahhh, the Democratic "hoax" machine at work, I get it.

mediamatters.org/print/research/200911020034

Besides, why would SOME Republicans be so desperate to keep low-income citizens from voting for the first time that they were willing to fire their own US attorneys for failing to bring phoney charges of voter fraud?

For example, despite thorough investigations of about 100 instances of alleged voter fraud in 2005, the FBI and the New Mexico Attorney General's office, led by a Republican who was under immense pressure by the Bush Administration to "find" voter fraud, found not a single case they could prosecute. There are other cases of similar results.

So, have there been instances of voter fraud in elections in our country? Yes. Have there been cases where an election was unfairly swung in favor of one candidate? Yes. Are Republican AND Democrat efforts to get the vote out always on the "up and up". No. To what extent is voter fraud prevalent in our country that requires new legislation to deal with that problem is the debate.

Again, where is the SPECIFIC evidence that wide-spread, large-scale, coordinated vote stealing has been PREDOMINANT in our political system OR that wrongful voter registration and actual polling-place vote fraud have led to NUMEROUS elections to be "stolen", which require IMMEDIATE reforms at the state and local level?

And don't give me your tired "I don't report the news" excuse, either.

You're good at dressing shit as shinola, fella.

Any damn fool knows that it is impossible to prove a negative.

Nice try!

So, anony, what are the signatures there for in the first place if not for security?

Should your bank cash several fraudulent checks out of your account when the signature isn't a match?

Are these voters so poor and disenfranchised that they can't remember how to "make their mark?"

You logic is flawed and, quite frankly, bullshit. You nd Foust have a special bond in that way.

Apparently, I learned from the master...yourself.

Again, that's all you have to counter LEGITIMATE claims? Now who's shoveling...

"Any damn fool knows that it is impossible to prove a negative."

One of the oldest tricks in the book!

Disgruntled--All I am saying there is a Pavlovian response to "voter fraud" and "ACORN" by some Republicans and conservatives, who automatically assume that "the fix is in".

"So, anony, what are the signatures there for in the first place if not for security?"

Blame New Jersey law regarding the verification procedure for absentee ballots. It's ripe for a lawsuit by the winner or loser in an election, regardless of political party affiliation.

Gee, anony, maybe the proven experience with ACORN (there are lots of CONVICTIONS) has something to do with "pavlovian response."

Unlike those who are brain-dead, we Conservatives pay attention. "Fool me once,,,,,,"

Yes, SIGNATURES count. And send me your checkbook! I'll promise to spend it on stimulative efforts.

Anon, you seem to miss the point. Are you that OBTUSE?

Clearly there is a law and safeguard in place whereas the signatures must MATCH. Isn't that clear enough for you?

Oh, but it's okay that it's a Democrat lackey that wants the votes to count, even though they clearly shouldn't.

Damn fool is right.

Out of 180,000 absentee ballots, there are 3,000 signatures which don't match. Who determines that match? A gummint official, a person who supposedly some DON'T trust to do anything right, let alone be a handwriting expert. Ever try to match signatures, especially if they are sloppy? It's called discretion! Fine, automatically throw out 3,000 ballots. The law is the law. Then don't come crying to me when Republicans in New Jersey then request county clerks to make judgement calls.

Still waiting for a rebuttal to the claims made by Media Matters.
Oh, I forget, they are a tool of the Socialist regime currently in power. My bad.

Last word, Dad, since it is your blog.

Wow, that voter fraud sure made all the difference in New Jersey. Corzine was out the door anyways. Very unpopular. Virginia went blue as well. Not surprising.
A mandate against Democrats? The true test is 2010 mid-terms.

I'm pretty sure the last anon comment isn't our anony friend from the earlier posts.

Either way, you're right, anony, your friends at Acorn couldn't cheat themselves into another election anyway.

Oh, and VA didn't go blue, they went red. Get it right.
