JFC's Fitzgerald Stiffs Wisconsin Right-to-Life

WisPoliticsBudgetBlog (http://blogs.wispolitics.com/budget.html) reports that Chairman Fitzgerald will not allow an amendment which would prohibit fetal stem-cell research. He even wrote a communique to explain his recalcitrance.

The communique is poorly written and smells bad, to boot. http://www.wispolitics.com/index.iml?Article=38098

We all know that there are some heavy-money Republicans out there who want FS-CR very badly, regardless of its utility (very questionable) or the utility of the alternatives (placenta or ADULT stem-cells, both proven to be very viable and effective.)

Fitzgerald's yappaflappa about "not the appropriate place" is just that--yesterday JFC inserted language into the Corrections budget which actually micromanages Corrections' hiring in the next biennium.

More to follow.
