For too many legislators, politics is no longer about principle. Rather, it’s become a naked competition for clout among interests seeking to use the power of government to their advantage.

Were this trek into the Servile State limited only to Madistan, we'd be grateful. But Eisenhower mentioned the "military-industrial complex" a few years ago, and there's good reason to believe that our Wisconsin legis-wonks are merely a shadow of the Washington "Me-First" game-players.
