Praising the Suicide Pact

We are in awe of this one:

John Roberts kicks ass. The chief justice's supremely magisterial end-of-term majority opinion in Trump v. Barbara, the birthright citizenship case, powerfully vindicated the framers of the Fourteenth Amendment. Roberts's impressive historical analysis left the lead dissenter, Justice Clarence Thomas, looking like the bloodied loser of a Trumpian UFC cage match....

Uh-huh.

Roberts writes a suicide-pact version of the 14th Amendment--against all common sense and pertinent precedent in common law and English practice--and someone calls Roberts a genius and Thomas a bumbling moron.

Only on the East Coast is this considered wisdom.  Same place as the War for Israel is supported, by the way.
