One prominent election-fraud vehicle may soon disappear.
... The case is Watson v. Republican National Committee, and the issue is whether the State of Mississippi’s statute allowing ballots that arrive after Election Day to be counted violates federal law....
Of course it does.
PowerLine cites both the Constitution AND Federal law.
...The Republican National Committee says the federal statutes mean what they say: for national elections, we have an Election Day, not an Election Season. At oral argument, most justices seemed sympathetic to that argument....
This obviously applies only to Federal elections.
But will States jury-rig elections so that State and local results take a few weeks but the Federal ones are apparent same-night?
Dear Justice Thomas: make Evers and Kaul cry.
